Not Your Average Church Girl, Inc. is a ministry that supports all women through transparency, accountability, and the love of Christ. NYACG’s desire is to support single woman who aspire to attend Vocational/Trade School. All applicants must be single woman and 18 or older by the start date of the program at an accredited school or institution. In addition to completing the online application, applicants must also submit a video answering specific questions.
Scholarship Amount: $1,000
Deadline: May 1, 2024
Decisions will be made by: June 1, 2024
Requirements:
-Single woman
-High School Diploma or GED
-Matriculating Student
-Desire to attend a USA accredited vocational school (ie. Cosmetology, Culinary Arts, Medical Assistant, etc.)
-Part time or Full time
How funds are dispersed:
Funds are disbursed to the school of acceptance.
Application Frequency:
Recipients may re-apply for the next year upon successful completion of NYACG Scholarship Mentor Program.
Additional Requirements:
Recipients must commit to a Mentorship program with Not Your Average Church Girl. Inc. Recipients must meet with NYACG Scholarship Mentor, at least once each semester to discuss academic success, challenges, and other necessary information. The program ensures that recipients are consistently supported through their academic journey at their vocational school. We will also highlight resources that support academic success.
