Founder and Leading Lady of Not Your Average Church Girl welcomes you!
Leading Lady, Christine Jakay Lockridge has a love for people, children and evangelism. Although born in Winter Park, Florida she relocated to several states and served in multiple capacities at her local church assemblies. She has earned her Bachelors of Arts in Interdisciplinary Studies (2008) and Masters in Childhood Special Education (2009) at D'Youville College, Buffalo, NY. Christine has successfully defended her Ph.D. dissertation thesis in Anderson University's Leadership Program. She is a proud member of Sigma Gamma Rho Sorority, Inc. and the Chaplin (2022-2024) of her chapter, Theta Omicron Sigma.
Lady Lockridge is the author of 2 books; "He's On The Way, In the Meantime Pray & Prepare" and "Not Your Average Church Girl, Transparency, Accountability, and Love. " Her transparency and love for Christ shines through her lifestyle and ministry.
Christine's desire is for all women to accept Jesus as their personal savior. Her prayer is that all women will be able to identify their purpose and boldly live out their faith!
In June 2017, God lead her to launch Not Your Average Church Girl as a ministry beginning in Colorado Springs, CO. A month later, the Genesis Chapter of Not Your Average Church Girl was founded on July 22, 2017 in Denver, CO. To date, an additional 4 Chapters have been birthed; Exodus Chapter-New York, Leviticus Chapter -Maryland, Numbers Chapter -Georgia, and Deuteronomy Chapter-South Carolina.
